Just some of the lovely comments I have received from people who came on my glass beadmaking courses
Hi Pauline
Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed last Sunday and to say thank you for sending on my beads which arrived yesterday. I have not had much torch time since then but in the time I have had, I have been a bit flower mad!!! My shaped beads are improving but I guess there is still a lot of PPP to go. Could you let me know what the glass was that we were using as the colour range is so pretty – now I have them next to my other beads they look really different. Also, many thanks to your lovely DH for the wonderful lunch – I hadn't been expecting such a feast, so that was a lovely surprise. Hope all is well with you and thanks again!

Hi Pauline,
A big thanks for the weekend. I really
enjoyed myself and hopefully I will be able to remember all that you taught
me.
Trouble now is that all I seem to bethinking about is all the different beads I
might be able to make with a bit of practice.
Thanks again for opening up a whole new world!

Hi
Pauline,
I
would just like to say a big big THANK YOU for an absolutely fantastic day
yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I think I am definitely caught by the
"glass bug" now. You are an excellent teacher. The demonstrations were
clear and your encouragement was fantastic so thank you. I am hoping to be able
to attend one of your other courses later in the year. I am keen to get started
but at the moment I don't have the safety glasses. I had a quick look on the
internet but a lot of the time they don't say if they are gold coated. You
couldn't tell me where you got yours from as I am desperate to have a go this
week as its half term.
P.S.
Please let me know if you would like me to come and pick up the beads to save
you the hassle of posting them.
Thanks
again Pauline. It has been a life changing experience.

Dear
Pauline,
Thanks
for making Saturday so enjoyable for both of us. Your taking us back to Amersham
really helped the journey back, and luckily we didn't have the waiting
round for the bus and underground which we had experienced in the morning.
Babette
is full of enthusiasm for making beads now - I will see what happens
before I make up my mind whether to invest in the torch and so on. I was a bit
disappointed that my kiln isn't the right sort, as I had rather thought that at
least I had that bit of kit. We might see what we can make in the bead line with
dichroic glass next, inspired by your ideas and excellent teaching.
We'll
keep in touch,
All the best, and thanks again, Frances - February 2007

Dear
Pauline,
It
was good to see you again at the Festival in Stourbridge.
I’ve
been very busy since my course with you in June and have recently had the chance
to practice some of the techniques we looked at to make some of my own beads. I
managed my first bead firing in my little kiln this weekend. I’m still working
in the conservatory although am still promised a little shed workshop of my
own… possibly next year.
I’d
just like to say thank you again for making my dream come true by teaching me
how to work with glass.
Best wishes, Vicki. November 2006

Dear
Pauline,
I
must apologize for the delay in this e-mail however I would like to say how much
Natasha and I enjoyed your bead making course. We both came home feeling
very inspired and were terribly excited when we received the beads through the
post. I have shown so many friends what we created and all of them have
been amazed! Also a big thank you to your husband for cooking such a
lovely meal, absolutely delicious.
I
am seriously considering kitting out my workshop with the equipment and to start
creating. So thank you once again for inspiring us, the day with you has
been much talked about to friends.
With best wishes
